Companies and regulators meet this Thursday at the Fourth Ibero-American Gaming Summit

• This Thusday, 6th April, the city of Cartagena de Indias in Colombia will bring together key regulators and pacesetters of the gaming industry to “consolidate the legal and responsible gaming in Latin America”.

• The Summit will be attended by the Colombian Minister of Finance and supported by the Spanish Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, along with more than 200 attendees from Latin American regulators and members of leading companies in the sector will also be welcomed.

On Thursday April 6th, Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) will host the IV Ibero-American Gaming Summit, the annual reference meeting of the gaming industry. The iconic Convention Center in the Colombian city is the site chosen by the organization to bring together more than 200 attendees.

The Ibero-American Gaming Summit is the only meeting that brings together regulators from all Latin American countries to strengthen government and business ties and discuss the situation of the industry in the region. In addition to representatives from leading companies in the sector, the Summit will be attended by the Colombian Minister of Finance, Mauricio Cárdenas and regulatory bodies from more than a dozen countries.

‘Towards the consolidation of legal and responsible gaming in Latin America’ is the official slogan of this fourth edition. The themes on which the event’s program revolve around are: regulation, internationalization, innovation and opportunities. The approval of gaming mechanisms and instruments and the fiscal and financial model in the region are some of the hottest items on the agenda.

Among the main regulators are those from Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Bolivia and the host Colombia.
